Privacy Policy

We collect very little, and we do not sell what we collect.

When you read the site

BTT Road & Legal does not run advertising trackers and does not set cookies of its own. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which record information such as the requested page, the time, your browser type and your IP address. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and they are retained according to the provider’s own policies.

Our fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, so reading an article does not send your information to font or script services.

If we add privacy-respecting analytics or any other service that collects information, we will update this page before it goes live and describe what it collects.

When you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to reply and, for tips or corrections, to report the story or fix the error. We do not publish your name or contact details without your permission.

When you subscribe to the briefing

If you subscribe to the Road Safety Briefing, we keep your email address on our mailing list and use it only to send the briefing. You can leave the list at any time. We never sell or rent our list, and we do not share it except with the service provider that sends the briefing on our behalf.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and briefing, when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our readers or staff.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing editorial@bttlaw.com.

Children

This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
